Ordination of Tom Bennett
Rev. Bro.Tom Bennett, cos, was ordained Deacon, by Bishop Peter Brewer, cos on Saturday, September 9th, A.D. 2023
Tom was also received as a Novice in the Community of Our Saviour, an Anglican Franciscan Third Order. Congratulations, Tom and Godspeed in all your future ministry endeavors.
A Continuing Church
We continue in the historic Anglican expression of the Christian Faith as the same has been transmitted to us through the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, the Creeds of the Undivided Church, and the Book of Common Prayer (1928). We are determined to continue in the Catholic Faith, Apostolic Order, Orthodox Worship, and Evangelical Witness of the historic Anglican Church, with its traditional liturgy, music and patrimony.
Community of Our Saviour Retreat
Our trip to the Monastery, originally scheduled for 21 - 24 September 2023 is postponed until the Spring. Sorry for any
inconvenince.
St. Francis Parish Anniversary
We will celebrate our 31st anniversary of Proclaiming Christ in word and sacrament on November 12, 2023.
(The actual anniversary is Nov. 10th). We will be blessed with the attendance of Bishop Peter, who will administer
the Sacrament of Confirmation and receive new members already confirmed. We will enjoy a catered lunch (Sonny's BBQ)
following the Mass. Please mark your calendars now to be sure to join us.
